Descript of STAHLWERK DC WIG 200 S
Power
TIG 200 A
MMA with 200 A
Power adjustable between 10-200 A
DC welding machine
For non and low alloy steels, stainless steel, copper, brass, etc.
Not for light metals such as Aluminum suitable (no AC).
gas cooled
Hose package Gas-cooled.
ignition
Reproducible welding results through HF ignition (RF-ignition) and constant welding parameters at startup. The tungsten electrode does not touch the workpiece - thus this is protected and the seam is exposed to tungsten influences.
Unrestricted suitable for construction sites
High tolerance to mains fluctuations ensures use in the generator mode and with long mains supply leads up to 30 m. Site requirements IP23 and S-marking are met.
The narrow design of the machine and low weight make it absolutely portable.

Inverter Welding Machine
The welding inverter is an electronic power source. Inverter welding machines are built for all arc welding processes such as electrode, MIG / MAG, TIG and plasma / TIG welding. The devices are switched on depending on the power or three-phase connected to the mains. The basic principle of an inverter corresponds to a switching power supply. The mains voltage is first rectified, chopped with the aid of power semiconductors with a frequency between 20 kHz and 150 kHz and transforms over a relatively small transformer to a lower voltage. Then the welding current by means of suitable diode must be rectified. The size of transformers equal power is approximately inversely proportional to its operating frequency, ie the transformer and the entire welding machine, the higher the frequency, the smaller and lighter can be built. The efficiency of inverter welding equipment is better than the other power sources. Due to the higher operating frequency highly dynamic welding processes can be much better controlled.
DC
DC - direct current (German: DC)
For non and low alloy steels, stainless steel, copper, brass, etc.
Not for light metals such as Aluminum suitable (no AC).
Gas tracking
Adjustable between 0 - 5 s. Easy on the tungsten electrode against excessive wear and protects the weld from oxidation.
2T / 4T
In 2-stroke mode, the torch trigger must remain depressed by the TIG tube package as soon as the button is released the arc is extinguished.
For 4-stroke remains after pressing and releasing the torch button the arc stable. Only by pressing the torch button the arc is extinguished.
Anti-Stick
Shortly before the short circuit is the plant from the set maximum current, which prevents sticking and overheating of the electrode.
Hot Start
Prevents short term by superposition of the set welding current, the sticking of the stable electrode and warms the weld beginning faster.
Remote control
About foot pedal (not included).
Safety: S mark and IP23
S-mark: for working in confined spaces with increased electrical hazard.
IP23: Required for works that take place outdoors.
